Mediacom's consumer division wanted to generate awareness of a new product line called Xtream. AMC was looking additional ways to promote the upcoming season of their hit show The Walking Dead. We were able to do a cross promotion between Mediacom and their affiliate, AMC.

We created a social media sweepstakes using Facebook and Twitter, this was one in a series of four that I was able to work on at PK Network. Customers were able to register to win a trip to Los Angeles with hotel and flight included for 2. Winners also got tickets to a live taping of the after show Talking Dead and $200 spending cash.

THE DETAILS

The sweepstakes drove traffic to the cable company client's landing page for the Xtream product which increased hits and created awareness of the new product which informed existing and potential customers. We also increased "Likes" on the company Facebook page and helped AMC promote the new season in the process.

When creating these materials I wanted to stay close to the look and feel of the show so that we could attract more fans who would recognize the brand and be more intrigued to click on the materials.
