The Challenge
The Mediacom Business division needed to extend its long running campaign. I was fortunate enough to work in a team environment making concepts come to life in various mediums such as TV spots, ads, billboards and direct mail pieces.
The Idea
This campaign lasted over 2 years and focused on helping customers differentiate between the consumer service and the business services that the company offered. The TV spots I worked closely on were Debate, Gym and Keynote. The scenarios created were always about uncovering the truth about how good the service is in comical spoofs.

The Details
In each of these scenarios I was able to work with the actors and art direct the photography which I used to design in all of the ads, direct mail pieces and billboards. I also assisted in creation of props used on set and supervised scripts for the TV and radio spots.

TV Spots
The Debate concept was based on the 2016 election. The TV spot and materials were timely as all the materials hit the market near the election.
The Gym concept was more comical with a reveal at the end. One friend finds out another friend is having success in his new business and wonders how he does it.
The Keynote concept was a spoof on the late great Steve Jobs. In this scenario we turn the tables on his Keynote and audience member ends up stealing the show.
The Evolution
After the successful 2 year run was over it was time to evolve the brand, customers recognized the Mediacom Means Business identity but as with most brands they simplify over time. We updated the logo and I developed 3 new TV spots to subtly kick off the introduction to the new identity out into the market.
TV Spots
The Sound of Business concept was a fun way of showing a business picking up at a bar while using Mediacom Business products and at the same time the sounds of that business ramp up to form a fun beat while the screen does the lifting on the messaging.
The Theater concept was a more straight forward approach to target mid-sized to larger businesses. We wanted to show the strength of the internet services handling large downloads and modernizing the movie theaters business.
The Handoff concept was about showing a variety of businesses taking advantage of the services being offered by Mediacom Business and how their products are making them innovative and future-proof.
